Gala Games wants to give players back control over their games. The mission of Gala Games is to make blockchain games that players will actually want to play.
The governance of games can be influenced by the players who own non-fungible token. Players can influence what games Gala should develop and what games should get funding. Gala Games uses its own utility token, GALA, in addition to buying NFTs for specific games. Gala Games has released a game called Town Star and an NFT collectible series called VOX.


Who are the people who created Gala Games?
Eric Schiermeyer founded Gala Games. He was a co-founder of the company. Poker, Mafia Wars and Farmville were launched under Schiermeyer.

Gala games are unique.
Gala Games is not a single game, but rather it offers an entire array of different games that are fun first and foremost. Town Star is a town simulation that can be played in a browser.
Gala Games has a set of collectible NFT avatars. Some VOXs are rare than others. At the time of writing, 8,888 VOX were distributed for an average price of 0.0888 ETH. Although inspired by Town Stars, VOX has other utility. The holders can lock up GALA and earn VOXcoin by playing with their VOX avatars in the future.
Other games are being developed as well. Fortified is a tower defense game set in a medieval world.
Mirandus is a fantasy role playing game set in a world ruled by five player-monarchs.
The game is set in a universe at war.
Spider Tank Project is an online battle arena game that allows players to pick a tank to play in. There are in-game earning mechanisms in the free-to-play game.
Community feedback is a big part of the development of these games. Gala Games test their assumptions with their community.
The Gala network supports Gala Nodes. They get rewards like GALA and limited edition NFTs. Proof-of-work, proof-of-stake, and proof-of-storage are included in the triple-proof system. Tier-1 PoWs are based on 50,000 fully-owned NFTs. These are early supporters of the network and will receive NFTs from all subsequent games. PoS operate for specific games through a smart contract.

How many Gala Games are in circulation?
35 billion GALA token will be the maximum total supply.
The GALA is distributed daily. Half of the GALA is given to Founder's Node operators and the other half to Gala Games. The distribution of GALA will be halved on the 21st of July each year.
The GALA token is used to purchase items in the game and can be earned from running a node.

The Gala Games Network is secured.
The GALA token can be used on both the BSC and the Ethereum platform. The network is secured by its own set of nodes.
The Gala Games platform has games that can be voted on. Buying an account and running it on your computer is how you can operate a node. According to a point system, GALA are rewarded to operators. A minimum of six hours in a cycle and at least six hours in a referrals run score 1 point and 0.1 point, respectively.

When will Gala Games trading begin?
The GALA token started trading in September 2020.
