What is KardiaChain?
KardiaChain is a platform that aims to be non-invasive, meaning that it can connect to the network without having to make technical modifications to their own protocols.
The platform uses a native token, KAI, which is used for services and smart contracts.
The mainnet of KardiaChain went live in December 2020.

Who are the founding members of KardiaChain?
KardiaChain was founded by two former high-school classmates, Tri Pham and Hguyen, who are now the CEO and chief technology officer. Prior to KardiaChain, he co-founded AppFluke, a startup focused on bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and consumer products. He said that his time with AppFluke made him interested in bringing new technology to the people.
He was a technical manager at the time he led the project. KardiaChain formed its core development team with the help of several other Google employees.

What makes KardiaChain unique?
KardiaChain claims to be the first-ever fully non-invasive, consensual. The main way it is able to achieve this is through its dual master node technology, which allows it to have simultaneous access to both its own ledger and those of other platforms. This allows KardiaChain to operate with other blockchains without having to change their protocol or technology.
KardiaChain's CEO stated that the platform is working to decentralize the existing systems of governments and enterprises, which will allow it to reach millions of users without having to educate the public.
The platform has launched several initiatives intended to increase adoption, including "adoption decentralization applications," which combine aspects of both centralized and decentralized apps; discounts on mobile top-ups for Viettel customers when paying with KAI; and KAIstarter, a revenue sharing platform.

How many KardiaChain (KAI) Coins are in circulation?
There is a total token supply of 5 billion KAI. Of the total, 1 billion KAI was allocated for private sales and 750 million was made available for sale during the initial exchange offering.
The KardiaChain team was allocated 600 million KAI, its advisors were given 150 million KAI, and 934 million KAI was kept for foundation reserves.
After the mainnet launch of the KardiaChain, KAI was swapped for a token native to the platform.

How is the KardiaChain network secured?
The KardiaChain network is secured with a Byzantine Fault Tolerance delegated proof-of-stake consensus, meaning that new blocks must be approved by a two-thirds majority and stakeholders can delegate the validation of transactions to trusted third parties.
CertiK completed an audit of the KardiaChain mainnet in December of 2020 and all the issues identified within the scope of the audit were addressed by the team.
