TXA is an open source project that provides settlement services to exchanges that wish to build on top of its settlement layer. hDEX, which stands for hybrid-decentralized exchange, is the foundation of TXA's Decentralized Settlement Layer. The architecture of a centralized orderbook is brought to fruition by the Decentralized Settlement Layer.
TXA's Decentralized Settlement Layer can be extended by token holders through the TXA Governance Process to support any exchanges that wish to use it. It can be integrated into open source development to support more exchanges. It will be possible to support multiple exchange platforms for any entity that wants to use it.
TXA's Decentralized Settlement Layer is a hub for a minimum of 10 Settlement Data Oracles to reach a consensus on P2P obligations to finalize settlement on matched orders. SDO operators are TXA token holders who provide settlement services for trades made on an hDEX. The further democratization of the exchange process will be led by the freedom to charge a settlement fee for their services per trade.
The TXA token is a utility token for the Decentralized Settlement Layer. It can be used as a fee replacement on exchanges that use the TXA Decentralized Settlement Layer or staked to operate a Settlement Data Oracle within the Decentralized Settlement Layer. The holders of the TXA token in the community will be able to charge a fee for their services within the community and will be able to provide services to exchanges built on the Decentralized Settlement Layer. Yield generating sources in DeFi are drying up.
TXA's utility can be utilized on exchanges that use it for settlement services.
