What is Star Atlas?
Star Atlas is a massive online game that takes place in a virtual gaming metaverse. Unreal Engine 5 allows the game to feature real-time environments.
There are different genres in the game. It is part of the strategy that you have to develop plans of action to interact with other players. The game has an abundance of stars for exploration and exploitation. It is a flight simulation since players can travel to and explore these stars on their own.
The first time players start in a security zone is without combat.
The pillars of the game are fundamental. There is deep space exploration. There is combat. There are space stations and ships. In-game professions can be used to mine resources. To scale control of resources.
Real-world currency can be exchanged for assets acquired in the game.
Star Atlas was announced in January of 2021. It is backed by several Solana-based projects.

Star Atlas was founded by five people. Prior to founding Star Atlas, Michael Wagner worked at a VC fund and a company focused on producing products.

What makes Star Atlas unique?
Star Atlas aims to deliver a gaming experience that spans several genres and combines a cinema-quality gaming experience with an ability to earn virtual assets that can be exchanged for real-life currency. It plans to beat its competitors in several areas. Star Atlas combines many different possibilities into a single game.
The NFT marketplace will function as ships and other in-game equipment, and players will be able to buy NFTs there as well as in-game currency. Bounty hunter, pirate, and a large number of others will be able to fulfill roles on spaceships, at the same time as players will be able to choose a profession. Spaceships will be able to combine resources and compete together. Decentralized corporations will be able to build entire space cities with accompanying micro-economies.
Star Atlas plans to offer an NFT marketplace and an NFT release schedule to distribute and trade in-game assets.
