About Stratis

What is Stratis (STRAT)?

Stratis (STRAT) is a blockchain project designed to provide solutions for enterprise blockchain development. The official vision of the company states: "To let you use our experience to solve the challenges of developing and implementing corporate blockchain on a global scale, we make blockchain simple!"

To this end, several products have been developed that make it easier for businesses to create a blockchain, and related services from start to finish. The development history detailed in the Stratis roadmap and frequent updates is a testament to the team's work ethic and clear vision for the project.

Who created Stratis (STRAT)?

Stratis (STRAT) was founded in 2016 by Chris Trew and was developed in C#, one of the most popular languages for software development.

Stratis Group Ltd., the company behind the creation of the Stratis platform, was founded in 2016 by Chris Trew.

2017 was a fundamental year for the project, when the team outlined its path to creating a fully functional platform for business. Development focused on full nodes, the Stratis wallet, masternodes, alpha versions of sidechains, and inclusions in Microsoft Azure.

In 2018, Stratis Academy was launched, a portal for developers to get started with development, an alpha version of smart contracts, an ICO platform, production releases of full nodes and side chains, and the Breeze privacy protocol.

2019 focused on the payment gateway, Security Token Offering (STO) platform, Java and JavaScript support, and Proof-of-Stake for sidechains.

There is a very clear corporate approach to the Stratis platform, which is supported by strong development and quality communication.

What is unique about Stratis (STRAT)?

The mission of Stratis can be summed up quite clearly: to provide enterprises with easy-to-implement and quickly deployable blockchain-based solutions. First of all, it should be noted that while Stratis may be a BaaS platform, it offers a whole range of features that go beyond just providing the ability to create blockchains using a programming language that they may be familiar with. Stratis uses the C # programming language, a language developed by Microsoft around 2000. It is the 4th most popular programming language in the world.

This enterprise platform offers end-to-end blockchain solutions for native C # and .NET applications. Products include smart contracts, ICO platform, sidechains, Full nodes, Stratis Identity, and Stratis Academy.

How many Stratis tokens (STRAX) are in circulation?
