The project has been in the hands of the community ever since.
What makes Ghost different?
Ghost's unique code has a variety of features. Decentralization is one of the project's most important aspects. Ghost uses a Proof-of-Stake consensus method. Users gain rewards for doing so when they stake their coins, which is what this allows them to do. Those who hold enough coins to be eligible for bonus rewards from the network are the users who have the status of "Ghost Veteran". All eligible vets are given additional rewards once a month.
